Erratic, improvisational, and concrete are a few ways to describe Kwong’s drumming, which has been influenced by jazz, funk, rock, metal, and free form genres. Originally self-taught, Kwong plays the drums in the alternative rock band “The Neuroplastic,” and on his 4th studio album “April Hour.” Kwong continues to study jazz drumming, while also participating in free form, ambient, and experimental music projects with percussion.
